It was a perfect Saturday for picking up trash, and we sure saw some interesting things! After working all morning, we had free lunch, prizes, and entertainment!

Once a year, thousands of volunteers gather along the Texas waterways to do their part in cleaning up the environment by participating in the largest statewide event to educate the public about the importance of our water resources – River, Lakes, Bays ‘N Bayous Trash Bash®.
Trash Bash ® is the largest waterway clean-up event in Texas, and Buffalo Bayou is fortunate to be one of 17 sites! There will be door prizes, t-shirts, entertainment, free lunch, and other environmental activities.
